Wine Tasting
Our wine tasting evenings are a great introduction to the British wine industry, with information on the viticulture and management throughout the year, as well as the wine making process. You will experience a guided tasting, with information on tasting notes and pairings for our four recommended wines; red, white, rosé and English sparkling. This is followed by a Skylark wood-fired pizza buffet, with bruschetta, coleslaw and salad.
Our winter evening tastings begin at around 6:30pm. Our tasting duration (including food) is approximately 2 hours. Our 2024 and 2025 winter tastings are priced at £28 per person. Feel free to arrive before 6:30pm to enjoy a drink in our covered terrace seating area.

- If you have a gift voucher from Skylark then please enter the gift card code at the checkout.
- Our wine tasting takes place in our covered and heated seating area on our terrace, however please dress accordingly and be prepared for all British weather conditions.
- If you are unable to make the tasting you’ve booked onto then we’ll always attempt to move your tasting to another date, however we cannot do this with less than 24 hours notice before the beginning of your tasting, no matter what the circumstance. Any cancellations by the customer within 7 days of your tasting start date will not be able to be refunded.

We also have plenty of space for you to hold your own event at Skylark, and we can offer a varied range of food options, live music, or other entertainment, having hosted corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, hen parties and private wine tastings. “We have been here for both coffee and cake and evening drinks and on both occasions were made to feel very welcome and looked after well! Cake was delicious and the iced vanilla latte was the best I’ve ever had! The wine is pretty tasty too! Highly recommend a visit as the atmosphere in the evening along with the sunset is beautiful.”

“A beautiful afternoon wine tasting. This place is a beautiful hidden gem and I can’t believe I have only just discovered it! Wine tasting accompanied by a delicious ploughman’s lunch. The farm shop has a lovely selection of local produce, ice cream, homemade cakes, pasta etc as well as cute stuff for the home. This place is absolutely perfect for a girly day out or a date day. Everything about it is wonderful and I shall definitely return"

“An amazing place! We were on holiday and went twice. Pizza evening on a Friday (great food and a great atmosphere... there was even live music) and then for lunch a couple of days later. The food is great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. A MUST if you are in the area!"
