About us
Skylark combines a local farm shop with the freshest produce, our locals favourite terrace cafe overlooking the vineyard and a selection of tours and special events to experience with your loved ones.
Who are we
Skylark was founded in June 2022 by friends, and brothers-in-law Matthew and Dan. Using their combined experience in farming, retail and hospitality, they started with the vision to create a farm shop with a sustainable ethos, coupled with a cafe and bar space serving food and drink sourced with the same values, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
In our Farm Shop we focus on East-Anglian products from small batch and artisan producers. We have beer brewed on site, wine from grapes grown on site, honey from just across the road and a huge number of other local products. If we can’t find it locally then we source products that are more sustainably produced than other alternatives out there, focusing on fairtrade and organic options.
Our Farm Shop products can also be found in the varied food offerings on our Terrace menu. Produced in our Vineyard Kitchen, we offer brunch, lunch, wood-fired pizza, BBQ and platters. We deliver a variety of events from live music evenings, wine tastings, yoga mornings, markets, quizzes and private hire.
Our ethos of using local and eco-friendly produce is incredibly important to us, and there is always a story to tell with every product we stock. We are scrupulous with who we choose to work with, and are always looking to improve our sustainability credentials.
Fantastic hosts

“Fantastic hosts, excellent food & drink and a beautiful view. Have visited a number of times now and the laid back vibe here is the perfect fit for the view of the sun setting over the vineyard… achingly pretty! Whether you’re having a romantic meal or a family day out, Matt and his team will make sure you’re well looked after. Also, local beer doesn’t get much more local than this!!"

“We’ve been here for a wine tasting, with friends for drinks, with family for the halloween event and are here at the beer/pizza event with live music. Every time we have found the staff so helpful and welcoming and the beer/ wine produced here is very good, definitely worth a visit, we will be back"
Chilled atmosphere

“What a day! Had the pleasure of doing the wine tasting experience with my wife and walking through the vineyard. Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. There was a really calm, chilled atmosphere and you can tell that everyone who works here is passionate about what they do. We were blessed with the weather but the day itself was perfect. Throughly enjoyable day. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys wine, food and the company of others.”
Sunset is beautiful

“We have been here for both coffee and cake and evening drinks and on both occasions were made to feel very welcome and looked after well! Cake was delicious and the iced vanilla latte was the best I’ve ever had! The wine is pretty tasty too! Highly recommend a visit as the atmosphere in the evening along with the sunset is beautiful.”
Beautiful hidden gem

“A beautiful afternoon wine tasting. This place is a beautiful hidden gem and I can’t believe I have only just discovered it! Wine tasting accompanied by a delicious ploughman’s lunch. The farm shop has a lovely selection of local produce, ice cream, homemade cakes, pasta etc as well as cute stuff for the home. This place is absolutely perfect for a girly day out or a date day. Everything about it is wonderful and I shall definitely return"

“An amazing place! We were on holiday and went twice. Pizza evening on a Friday (great food and a great atmosphere... there was even live music) and then for lunch a couple of days later. The food is great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. A MUST if you are in the area!"
